Serving as a Guardian ad Litem in some of the most high-conflict situations, practicing as a family law attorney and representing parents in dependency matters after their children have been removed by CPS, I have a very thorough understanding of family systems. I also know from my own experience with Collaborative Law, that it is possible to craft a durable, workable solution even in what seems like an impossible situation. Agreements that people make on their own are more likely to work in the future than court-ordered solutions. Collaborative Law empowers divorcing couples and parents to choose their best future. I am a member of the King County Bar Association (Family Law Section, Collaborative Law Section), the Snohomish County Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, (Family Law Section, CLE Committee), the Washington Women Lawyers, the AFCC (Washington Chapter) and the American Bar Association (Family Law Section and GP Solo Division, Family Law Committee, Juvenile Law Committee, Commission on Women in the Profession and Children and the Law). I provide my time and services through the Moderate Means program of the Washington State Bar Association. I have both personal and professional experience with Collaborative Law.
