Elizabeth is a 25-year financial services professional, having served in the role of financial planner since 2000. Elizabeth holds a BA in Psychology, from Rhodes College, and she obtained her CFP ® designation in 2004. After the 2008 financial collapse, Elizabeth became a vocal leader for financial services regulatory reform and the fiduciary standard, serving on The Financial Planning Association’s National Government Relations Council from 2009-2011. Elizabeth relocated from Tennessee to Seattle in 2018 and she launched her own divorce planning practice in 2020.
Elizabeth’s passion for divorce planning was ignited in 2009 when she was first trained in Collaborative Practice. She served as a founding board member for the Memphis Collaborative Alliance and in 2015 she was appointed by the State of Tennessee Supreme Court as a Listed Rule 31 Family Mediator. Elizabeth holds the CDFA® designation, is a member of Collaborative Professionals of Washington, is a member of The Kitsap Community Foundation Investment Committee, is a member of The Financial Planning Association of Greater Puget Sound, is a member of XY Planning Network, and she offers pro-bono divorce services as a member of The Kitsap County Dispute Resolution Center. Her other professional interests include women and finance, financial therapy, estate administration, and behavioral finance. Elizabeth also provides post-divorce modular and comprehensive financial planning.
