How do I join King County Collaborative Law?
We’d love to have you join us! Please be sure that you have satisfied KCCL’s training requirements to practice as a Collaborative Law professional. Then simply click the link below to start your application process on-line.
If you don’t yet meet our requirements, there’s still a way you can join the KCCL Collaborative community – be a Friend of KCCL. Click here to read more about becoming a Friend of KCCL.
Note that these training requirements are very specific. Not all courses will meet these requirements. They were developed from the IACP’s Minimum Standards for Collaborative Practitioners and Minimum Standards for Collaborative Basic Training.
If you have any questions about whether a particular training meets these requirements, please contact our Membership Coordinator. We’re happy to discuss with you whether trainings you’ve taken meet the requirements or help you choose a training that will.
We encourage you to ask any questions you may have about Collaborative Law training or our requirements before applying for membership. If the courses you submit in your application do not meet the requirements, approval of your application will be delayed.
