Financial Planners
OTHER Professionals. Other professional members of King County Collaborative Law have received training in the Collaborative Law process. Their services may be useful in particular cases on an as-needed basis to support the work of the Collaborative team. KCCL does not make recommendations as to any professionals.
Financial Planners. Financial planners may be able to assist a party with a better understanding of potential post-divorce planning. Financial planners provide post-divorce investment advice.
Financial planners may not work as neutral financial specialists. For the same reason, a neutral financial specialist in a Collaborative case may not also work as a financial planner on that case as that would constitute a conflict of interest.
All Collaborative financial planners who are members of King County Collaborative Law must meet minimum training requirements.
