I have been a practicing family law attorney since 1995, initially focusing on litigation. In 2003, I founded the Collaborative Law professional community in Washington State, which has since grown dramatically, as exhibited by the many Collaborative Law groups and associations that currently exist within the state. In 2006 I transitioned her practice to exclusively collaborative or cooperative cases and mediation. I have frequently presented on Collaborative Law to various legal and non-legal groups, and have been regularly training professionals on the Collaborative Law model since 2006.

Anne Lucas has over 15 years in private practice working with couples. As a divorce coach, she guides couples through dismantling the ties that bound them together. The coaching identifies problem patterns and areas that might get in the way as the couple navigates the complex and painful transitions through the emotional, legal and financial pieces of the divorce. And, at the same time, she works with the couple to begin building skills that will help create their preferred post-divorce relationship and the new family configuration.
