FRANCES SCHOPICK, JD, MSW, LICSW will focus her training on coercive control/domestic violence, working with high conflict personalities and self-care.
Ms. Shopick worked for nearly 20 years as a mental health diagnostician and clinician in agency, research, and private practice. She has served on the faculties of two major medical institutions: In New York City at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (fka the Mount Sinai School of Medicine) in the Departments of Psychiatry and Preventive Medicine, and in Boston at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry. Research publications, abstracts, and presentations reflect her work at those institutions.
In her law practice, Ms. Schopick represents psychologists (PhDs and PsyDs), social workers (LICSWs), licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs), marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), chemical dependency professionals (CDPs) and other licensees under the Department of Health (DOH) throughout Washington who have DOH complaints against them.
